Once you have the spreadsheet

  1.  Insert Column for “earliest Close Date” “Probability” and “Territory” as below

Format Earliest close date to be date only as *3/14/2012

Format Probability as Percentage with no decimals

  1. Set column J as Accounting for $ value
  2. Customer sort the entire sheet

Sort by Deal Value and Largest to Smallest

  1. Correct* errors and delete anything under 50K

Example of what you would end up with

Note Line 2 shows $471,353,645.00 dollars – this is NOT correct – the quote was put in for the dollar amt.

  • *I only correct the sheet and send an email to the agent to correct FreshDesk
  • I also DO NOT validate invalid quotes – go into items in this case to find the date

Once corrected you will need to re-sort to have Largest to smallest.  If it is lower than the 50K you would remove it

  1. Add date range to tab

  1. Save Spreadsheet as .xlsx

  1. Each quote will be looked at in CCW-R to determine the earliest close date and probability
  2. For probability we use
    1. 100% if it is past the current date
    2. 95% if it is within 2 months of current date
    3. 75% if it is out farther than 2 months of current date
  3. Go to quote in CCW-R in Review and submit tab select Reseller, find majority common start date
    1. Enter in Earliest Close Date, add probability, Enter the following in Quote #’s column “CCW-R Quote ******* Internal Request or Customer Request (depending on who requested)
    2. Do this for each quote.  With multiple quotes enter the most common date only

  1. Once done with Earliest Close Date and Probability go to CIS to find the territory
    1. Use Comstor Account number and place in search center: select Cust Partner Portal (RPM)

  1. Search and will pull up customer – sometimes one way sometime another way
  2. Enter territory in spreadsheet

  1. Once all information is entered, Delete the Contact ID column from the spreadsheet

GO to CIS and open Pipeline Management

Select Lead

Download Template

  1. Copy and paste in the following from your spreadsheet

Enter Cisco Smartnet Services under Vendor

Enter Info from Quote numbers on your sheet into Comments

  1. Enter dates on tab
  2. Save as “Pipeline 3.4 thru 3.10”  NOTE: Use dates you are doing this for.

  1. Go back to Pipeline management and “Upload File”
    1. Choose the file Pipeline ***** ( with your dates)
  2. Select Open – review to confirm data is correct with your sheet

DO NOT SAVE – Only need to close open tab

Email will now be sent to the following, please copy me when you send

Subject line will read Pipeline Report (and your dates)

You will attach your file and not the one used for CIS (thus the reason for the different names in saving)

That is it ?
